Château Pesquié, 974 Viognier 2022

Flag of France

Located at the foot of Mont Ventoux, in the southeastern Rhône Valley, Château Pesquié is now into its third generation of Chaudière family ownership. It's now headed up by brothers Alexandre & Frédéric Chaudière, who have put all their passion into producing wines with the characteristic freshness and finesse of this exceptional terroir. 974 Viognier 2022 is named for the D974 - the road which leads to the summit of Mt Ventoux and is notoriously the hardest part of the Tour de France. However, the steep slopes and strong wind which makes it such hard going for cyclists is also what gives this wine its freshness and fruity intensity. Packed with notes of green apple, fresh pear, honey and stone; it's a wonderful wine to pair with Asian cuisine.
